Latest News:
New Pictures....Finally! - I'm sorry that it has taken so long to update the site. I won't make any excuses about how busy I am, so just forget about it and enjoy the new pictures found here .
For those of you who voted in the poll about Andrew sleeping thorugh the night...he finally is, after nine months. What a blessing it is for both of us to enjoy full nights of sleep again. Andrew will be ten months old in less than two weeks. I cannot believe how quickly this first year is going. As always, if you have any comments please leave them on the message board. |

| Another Image Gallery! - I updated the picture page a little bit by adding a couple of images to that page plus compiling the links to all of the galleries at the top. The newest gallery can be reached either through the picture page or Here.

| Some new pictures - Hey everyone, I have added yet another gallery of images for you to look at. Click HERE to see them. Included are some from our "short" vacation and some of Andrew his first time in a pool. He is rolling over from his stomach to his back now, and loves to smile and make strange noises. He has pretty much slept through the night for the past two nights, which means that a welcome trend has formed. I really hope he keeps it up. | Introducing: Andrew Alan Lopez-Couto - Yesterday evening, May 16, 2005, at approximately 6:30PM he was officialy welcomed into this world. He was born weighing eight pounds, two ounces and 21 inches long. Neither of us could believe how large he was. Both Andrew and Carrie are doing great. We should be back home tomorrow morning. | All signs point toward Monday! - Those of you who know Carrie know that she can never wait for anything. This trait of impatience means that if she buys you a gift for your birthday you usually get it (or are at least told what it is) well ahead of time. In that same vein she is ready to meet Andrew before his due date of the 19th and has scheduled an induction for Monday May 16. Of course you never know what could happen this weekend... I will post pictures from the hospital as soon as I have internet access (Do hospitals have WiFi). |

| It's A Boy!!! - Today during Carrie's ultrasound we found out that we are having a boy. I now have to go buy his first football. Carrie doesn't like the fact that "boy clothes aren't as cute as girl clothes." Oh well, he's a baby not a doll. It looks like the original poll ended up being correct, so good job. Keep voting on names. |

| Boy or Girl? - That is the big question we both have at this point. Carrie has an appointment scheduled for an ultrasound on January 20, so we should have our question answered in about four weeks. Check back for the pictures and result. |

| Things are going good - Carrie's last doctor visit went well. All of the blood tests for abnormalities came out negative and everything else looks fine. We are buying furniture for the baby's room tonight which means that painting is soon to follow. |

| We heard the heartbeat today - Carrie had her initial doctor visit today. We both were able to hear the heartbeat. She is much farther along than we expected...already ~10 weeks. Expected Due date: May 15, 2005. |
